Reverend Ike once told a classic story that bears repeating: there was a woman who was having a dream, and in the dream she was running. She saw a terrible beast running behind her every night, and was terrified when she awoke. Finally, one night, the beast was on her heels, ready to attack and she turned and asked, “What are you going to do to me?” The beast responded, “I don’t know. This is your dream.” Nothing in life has power over you but your word. God, Satan and other powers cannot do anything to you that you do not allow. You live in the world you have created.
